Your Personal Financial Counselor

Sculpture in the Weill Greenberg Center.
If you decide to proceed with ART™ robotic surgery, you will be asked to provide us with your insurance information, if applicable. Our financial counselors will discuss payment options with you, and are ready to assist you in banking and fund transfers, currency conversions and verification of insurance benefits, if appropriate. We will provide you with an estimate of charges for physician and hospital services as well as arrange for pre-admission deposits and special packages.

Insurance We Accept

Our practice accepts most major insurance plans, including:

  • Aetna
  • Anthem
  • Cigna
  • Medicaid (Clinic Only)
  • ConnectiCare
  • Empire Blue Cross
  • The Empire Plan
  • GHI
  • Health Net
  • HIP
  • Medicare
  • Oxford Freedom
  • UnitedHealthCare

Please contact our office if your plan is not listed. Generally, we will accept the above insurance companies' payment as payment in full for your surgery although you will be responsible for any copays and deductibles. Our staff will contact your insurance company to ascertain your coverage, obtain precertification and determine your co-pay responsibility.

Anesthesiology and Pathology typically bill separately. It is the patient's responsibility to obtain insurance pre-certification from these departments.

If you do not have insurance coverage you will be responsible for all charges related to your surgery. Payment arrangements will be discussed with you at the time your surgery is scheduled.
